Vadim Mikhailov graduated from the M.P. Mussorgsky Music College in St. Petersburg. He completed an internship in San Francisco (USA) as part of the Open World program and performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival in California, USA.As a member of the David Goloshchekin Ensemble, he has participated in international jazz festivals in Germany, Finland, and Slovakia, as well as in numerous Russian jazz festivals.
He is a member of the rhythm section of the Strings of St. Petersburg chamber orchestra and collaborates with David Goloshchekin, Nikolai Sizov, Elvira Trafova, and Yulia Kasyan.
